Quality Information & Technical Documents
Keep grade specifications, safety instructions and batch evidence separate and traceable.
What each document answers
| Document | Purpose | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| TDS | Model-specific technical description and specification. | Model, revision, units, limits, test definitions and conditions. |
| SDS | Safety, handling, storage, emergency and transport information. | Exact SKU/formulation, jurisdiction, revision and packaging. |
| COA | Results for the supplied batch. | Model, batch, date, measured results and agreed limits. |
| Third-party report | Results for the named tested sample and method. | Report number, date, sample identity, method, result and limitations. |
Match the test to the customer’s part
The supplied service document proposes density/weight/expansion, cells, appearance/colour, shrinkage/dimensions, mechanical properties, odour and chemical requirements. The customer’s application and acceptance criteria determine the appropriate subset.
Odour, ammonia, VOC and formamide are distinct measurements. A product brochure or a test provider’s name is not blanket evidence of compliance.
Evidence should follow the model and batch
Request the current grade documents and the batch COA for the actual order. Keep the test method, sample preparation and conditions together with the result so that a purchasing comparison is meaningful.
Pending confirmation No complete current TDS/SDS/COA set, accredited laboratory certificate or original third-party certificate has been added to this project. No certificate badge or fake download is shown.
What the supplied manuals can support
The OBSH, OBSH-1, TSH, H and low-temperature H pages identify the supplied manual values as reference information. Their temperature, gas-yield and particle-size methods and revision status still need verification.
See rubber foaming materials for model-separated references; do not turn one manual into a specification for all grades.
Safety and storage information
The selected manuals describe cool, dry storage away from sparks, fire and heat. Obtain the exact current SDS before deciding handling, firefighting or transport requirements. Do not copy a generic product-family statement across modified powders and masterbatches.
Request the relevant evidence
Specify the grade, application, market, test method and the document needed. A document request is not evidence that an unprovided certificate exists.
